God's plan for us...
Hi, we are Ken and Kathy Kelly. God has been pulling on our hearts for a very long time and we have been ignoring his call. Now, after spending a few years searching for our destiny, God dropped it in our lap. We will be leaving for Lesotho, Africa by the beginning of 2011, if not sooner. We will be helping a team that is heading there to open a center for victims of human trafficking. We both have a passion for serving others and helping to bring God's love to the world.
We made a two year committment to God, to help protect those moving to Lesotho as victim's advocates and to help recover missing and exploited victims. Because this is a ground level center, we will be raising our own funds for our two years in Lesotho. Our goal is to work toward being self sustained through our endeavors in Lesotho. We plan to work with the team to help teach the people there things they can do to help themselves and also ways they can keep from becoming victims of human trafficking.
We ask that you pray for us and the other members of the team that will be living in Lesotho. This will be a challenge that I am sure will open our eyes to the many blessings we have had throughout our lives, the things we have always taken for granted.
