First Annual Poker Run

I have to admit, I really was tired after our poker run.  I felt like I had been working non-stop for weeks.  However, I do realize, in all reality, I didn't work that hard at it.  I just think that with life in general, car issues, then the poker run all together, it seemed much more stressful.

We had a great success and were able to raise some funds to help us with some of the issues we currently have coming up.  We didn't have as many participants as we expected but we learned some valuable lessons.  First, have the poker run in the fall or spring, when it isn't 500 degrees outside and Second, have a preregistration so we will have a little bit of a head count.

All in all, we all had fun.  We had some great fellowship and we are grateful to all of the people who helped, all the people who participated and all those who prayed for us.  A big shout out to Bob Camp and his Mobile DJ business.  Also, to God Maffia, for coming out and to Ray for bringing his Waterless Car/Bike wash Shine ON.  Also, to Randy & Stephanie for bringing out the Disciple Crosses, which were a huge hit!  We appreciate you all so very much!

CMA, we love you and were so grateful for your help!  Victory Riders... so happy you all were there!

Second Annual Poker Run...  well, second for the year...

Ken and I are seriously thinking of having another poker run this fall, possibly at the beginning of October.  We would truly be honored if all of you would participate with us again.  More details to come!
